Since 2007 the Green Belt Movement of Kenya has partnered with the Lambi Fund of Haiti to address economic and environmental challenges at the grassroots level. Now this unique long-term partnership is adapting to the effects of the devastating earthquake last month.

In Copenhagen, people’s expectation was that delegates would have an ambitious and legally-binding agreement. Because this was not achieved many were disappointed.
